2001.10.08 - Auction Services Upgraded to Version 4.1

SeaPort Auction Services has been upgraded to version 4.1. This software upgrade will improve SeaPort's electronic MAC task order bidding functionality.

Contractors need to upgrade to Auction Services in order to use the bidding event features of the site. If a contractor has not used Auction Services since 8 October 2001, all of the directions for the Auction Services upgrade need be followed. If a contractor has never used Auction Services, only steps 2 and 5 of the directions for the Auction Services upgrade need to be followed. If a contractor has used Auction Services since 8 October 2001 and has been able to use its bidding event features, then the upgrade has already taken place.
